Welcome to the Margarita Maven blog! We are excited to have you join us here. Through this site we will discuss varied topics of interest some of which will be life, family, friends, chocolate, music, movies, books, margaritas, shoes, fashion and so many more. I will offer my opinion (as I have many), I will reflect and I will challenge. In the end, we will all have fun because, after all, life is way too short to not have fun along the way! Welcome and have a Margalicious Day!

New Shoes Arrive!!

My new shoes arrived!! My new shoes arrived!! Okay, so this internet thing is getting fun!! I found the greatest pair of shoes on a newly discovered website, http://www.shiekhshoes.com/. The photo is attached, aren't they adorable!! Apple green, snake skin, I think I am in love! You can't really see in the pic, but the heel is silver. If were Tim the Tool Man (from Home Improvement)and these were a tool, I would be grunting right now!!

There is one fatal flaw. Actually I don't know it to be a flaw, I am just projecting into the near future when I do wear them. They have a 4" heel. Now, I'm sure for the sake of fashion and looking great and shamelessly seeking compliments on my adorable shoes, I'll weather through and wear them with pride.

What I am wondering, is who designs these masochistic but adorable shoes. Not all of us are teeny little teenie boppers that can balance on skyscrapers of style. I am a fourty-ish style maven who loves shoes! I have bad knees, weak ankles, lower back pain (oh, the joys of getting older!), but I will persevere and I will look good in my new shoes.

But, seriously, has anyone out there come across a designer that is not a masochist. Where are the pretty colors, unique patterns and quirky differences without the the skyscraper heels. Has anyone come across such a kind and considerate designer!?? When you do, I would like to have his/her name, address, website, birthdate. . . . Seriously, just the name would be great!
